How Carpets Plus Helped Transform Library Cardboard into Larger-than-Life Art
This summer, our team at Carpets Plus of Wisconsin had the chance to support a unique and colorful display at Hedberg Public Library in Janesville. What started as a simple donation of cardboard carpet tubes turned into an imaginative, larger-than-life art installation for the library’s Summer Library Challenge.
When a librarian reached out asking to purchase tubes for a children’s art project, we didn’t hesitate—we delivered! One of our team members, was heading to a nearby builder’s office and hand-delivered the supplies. Not long after, we received heartwarming photos of towering art supplies—all crafted from our materials.

Supporting Our Community—One Small Act at a Time
At Carpets Plus of Wisconsin, we believe a business should do more than sell a product—it should make its community stronger. That belief shows up in how we treat our customers and how we respond to the little opportunities that arise each week. Whether it’s delivering flooring samples to your door or helping you match colors for a remodel, we’re here to make things easier—and a little brighter.
Our ties to Janesville, Beloit, Milton, and the surrounding area run deep, and we’re proud to support and be supported by our community. Projects like this remind us that even leftover materials can be part of something imaginative and meaningful.
Want to trust your flooring project to a team that treats your home like their own? At Carpets Plus, we’re not just local—we’re your neighbors.
